Refund policy

1. Return Period

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving the product. The return request must be submitted within this 30-day period. Requests made after this period will not be accepted.

Product Condition Requirements:

  • The product must be in resalable condition.

  • Free from scratches or any damage.

  • Not installed or used.

  • Must be in the manufacturer's original packaging, without writing or marks.

  • All components and parts must be intact.

  • The product must not be a clearance, outlet, or discontinued item.

Special Note:

The return window is based on the "recorded delivery" date of each individual item, not the entire order. If the product's delivery time exceeds 30 days, it cannot be returned.

2. Return Process

Photo Requirements:

When submitting a return request, you must provide the following photos:

  • Full view of the product.

  • External packaging.

  • Internal packaging.

These photos help us assess the product's condition and determine its eligibility for return.

Shipping Cost:

  • For returns due to quality issues, Umiksmart will cover the return shipping cost.

  • For returns due to customer reasons (e.g., change of mind, incorrect purchase, etc.), the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

Prepaid Return Label:

In some regions, we may offer a prepaid return label. If not available, the customer must arrange the return shipping at their own expense.

3. Damaged or Defective Products

Reporting Damage:

If the product is found damaged upon receipt, please inspect it immediately and contact Umiksmart customer service within 3 business days. Provide:

  • Clear photos or videos showing the damage.

  • Photos of the external packaging and shipping label.

Resolution Methods:

  • If the product was damaged during shipping, Umiksmart will be responsible for repair, replacement, or refund.

  • If the product has a quality issue or serious defect, Umiksmart will cover the shipping cost and provide a replacement or refund.

Any product-related issues must be reported within 30 days of receipt. Issues reported after 30 days may not be processed due to uncertainties caused by delays.

Important Reminder:

  • If you hire a third-party repair service without our authorization, we will not be responsible for the cost.

  • If the product is damaged during shipping, please report it within 3 business days and retain both the product and its packaging.

4. Undeliverable or Refused Packages

If a package cannot be delivered due to an invalid address, absence of a person to sign, or customer refusal, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping or handling costs incurred with reshipping or cancellation.

5. Refund Policy

Refund Process:

Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will process the refund within 3 business days, and the refund will be issued back to the original payment method. The bank may take approximately 10 days to process your refund, and the actual time of receipt may vary. You are expected to receive the refund in 13 days. If you do not receive the refund after this period, please contact us.

Refund for Quality Issues:

If the return is due to serious damage or defects, Umiksmart will provide a full refund.

Refund for Non-Quality Reasons:

If the return is for customer reasons (e.g., change of mind, incorrect purchase, minor appearance flaws, etc.), Umiksmart will charge a 10% restocking fee.

6. Exchange Policy

Exchanges Due to Quality or Shipping Damage:

If a product needs to be exchanged due to quality issues or damage during transportation, Umiksmart will handle the exchange.

Exchange Process:

The customer must return the original product and place a new order. The cost of return shipping and the new order will be borne by the customer.

7. Shipping & Logistics

After your order is shipped, we will provide tracking information so you can check the delivery status.

Please note that delays may occur due to weather or logistical factors beyond our control. We will do our best to ensure your order is delivered on time.
